The only case shown in the 1935 Model 21 catalogue is a high grade trunk case with brass corners and lock, but the text says they (Winchester) "...will furnish on request the very best imported hand-made gun cases in popular styles for double barrel guns." Guess they were too cheap to provide a quality U.S. made H.H. Heiser case!!

Schwing seems to avoid the subject of cases in his book.

I have one of these double ended cases by Red Head and it is stamped 30 but it is over 33 inches long and it appears to best fit a 30-inch barrel Browning A5 or Remington Model 11 or Sportsman, however there was a DEO-Grade 16-gauge Remington Model 1894 in it when I got it.
