OP Tom Hall Sidelock Joined: May 2003 Posts: 339 Southeast, NY	Paul, There is a limit to the length of the cartridge that will fit into the action due to the manner in which the block opens. I don't know exactly what that length is, but as far as a know it is one of the reasons that the 45 cal martini round is bottlenecked. I have seem them chambered for 45-70 but I don't know if the longer 45's will fit. Carbonation without fermentation is tyranny
