I believe reloading is part of the cost of owning vintage guns.

While factory 2.5 inch is not commonly available, sufficient components exist to properly load for vintage 2.5 inch guns. While I prefer harder to find Federal paper hulls cut down to 2.5 inches, they can be found, still more plastic hulls of most types can also be found and with minor efforts I have piled up a sizable diverse collection of 12ga hulls for my reloading. Wads are no real problem compared to a few months back.

Roll crimping is not difficult and with some practice is a real pleasure.

I have found many 2.75 inch 1 ounce and 1 1/8 ounce loads fit in hulls cut down to 2.5 then roll crimped.
