Here is one more update from Old Europe
...

...
In case you did not invest into shares of the booming weapon-industry in time
before 2/24, here is a hint how to correct this omission.
....
JSE has in their november auction a Purdey O/U with opulent Ken Hunt engraving.
The gun featured in a London auction beginning of the 90's.
The usual pattern is that such vintage guns are bought with 40 and sold/parted with 70.
As an alternative JSE has also in another Purdey, again with opulent engraving ,
with a complete set of 2 additional barrels in differing chokes.
Instead of screw-in chokes, as one can expect from this noble company.
..
Cheers and good luck for bidding
....
PS:
What is the most beautiful European bird ?
Here it is:
A ruff (in German: Kampfläufer) in its "mating-season-gala" from the Biebrza marshes of Poland.

Can not be bettered, neither by the colourful "Eisvogel" nor the
"All-white-feather-ball" of the bustard in its mating-dance.
