Wolves up there are now a constant. I see far-more than tracks in my travels. Some are so-big you could saddle & ride them. I have a friend who carries an Airweight .38 when hunting, strapped to his belt just for peace of mind. When carrying my lighter subgauge guns up there on long, lonely walks, I sometimes find myself considering the plausible need for an Airweight for myself...
Wolves up there have always been a constant way back to the late 60s and early 70s when I first started hunting up there. Never needed more than a Benjamin air rifle for myself and my golden.
