No doubt the Press would have hyped up the 'Pump Action Shotgun' as something akin to a weapon of mass destruction. Any shooting over here the Press insist on it being described as a 'Magnum'. I was once informed by a Member of Parliament that he had heard of very dangerous pistol rounds known as 'Wadcutters'. Where ignorance is bliss it is folly to be wise! Lagopus.....
Lagopus, about three or four years ago there was an op/ed column in the NYT by someone claiming that the "loophole" that allows muzzleloaders would soon be taken advantage of by the next mass murderer. They don't even try for the facts.
