A Cat posted on Shotgunworld with this & I was just curious where Société Manufacturière d'armes de Saint-Étienne fell in the scheme of things with MAS, etc. Also, is any of the following correct:

it was bought in November 1885 by Blanchon and Mimard to become Manufacture d’Armes de St Etienne, then in 1911 Manufacture Francaise d’Armes & Cycles de St Etienne (but the ctges show this hstp as early as 1903), then Manufrance later.<<

>>The Societe Manufacturiere d’Armes de St Etienne existed from before 1895 to after 1911<< so that might bound the date of manufacture.
