No the south lost. Its treasonous band of armed insurrectionists surrendered to the Union at Appomattox. The rebellion was put down, its illegal government was dissolved and the insurrectionist states folded back into the Union. Its means of production was destroyed and the land burned.

Decendants of the insurrectionists are only alive because of the good graces of their northern betters. A good grace that was not deserved, and you should every day thank the North for the generous treatment of your treasonous ancestors, because if they were all executed as they should have been, you would not be here today.
