Steve Helsley Sidelock Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 531 Likes: 18	Tamid, The lever-over-guards in my collection have raised metal on both sides on the bottom of their trigger guards. Such an arrangement can be seen on Steve Nash's most recent addition to his pinfire thread (page 29). They keep the lever centered under the receiver and only minimal effort is required force the lever over one of them to open the action.
