I thought you werent one of those fellows that gets more out of the I told you so hyperventilating, than reading what it actually says. Dont all controlled substances have potential side effects and should be used with appropriate cautions? If you take your piece on face value, all its saying is use it in the hospital setting, right? There are only two main considerations here, watch the patient die, or to a lesser extent, balance the need/shortage of hospital beds. Getting shot is potentially deadly, so instead of getting cutesie, we point the gun in a safe direction, right?

So what, if better, safer, more effective treatments are developed at a later time, whats your answer, up the body count for politics in the sort term?
