My two well used Webley & Scott 700's. The lower one with the straight hand stock is one of the first to be built after WW2 for the Brit market because it has 2 1/2 inch chambers rather than the 2 3/4 inch 700's we see today. I purchased it new from a local shop when I initially tried it the gun fitted perfectly the balance and every thing about the gun was right. Sadly age and weight gain the guns fit is now not as good these days.
The upper gun is a two barrel set and was the subject of my posting "converting a leather case to accommodate the gun", these two guns have been the work horses of my life and without exaggeration been a gun for every occasion. Considering their heavy use they have worked faultless for the half centaury and quite likely to do the other half without a problem as well.

The only lessons in my life I truly did learn from where the ones I paid for!
