People do buy guns and don't ever use them.

I have a Model 21 that was 'as new' near 60 years after it was made.

It's good when stuff is saved just for me.

A Colt 1911A1 from 1944 resides here. Apparently, it was sold through the NRA way back when for a few bucks. It's about the only gun I don't shoot regularly, although I have shot it. It's not about resale either, and it's a break from my usual pattern. It's just that 99% examples of that historic pistol are not encountered every day.

I should sell it. But I never will.
