I was sick. I took it to Ben Sims out in the Valley, a really outstanding gun restorer who said he could fix it. Left it with him:





The one that broke was not original...antiqued white walnut birch I suspect. It was made from a common hardware store dowel rod with angled grain that's why it broke.

"fix it" now that's some really dumb chit....

Next time she goes maybe she'll splinter in yer hand, wrist or eYe.
