Greetings: I have been offered what seems to be a fine french 12 ga sidelock ejector, dt. The gun has been passed tp a family member who has no use for it. It is a Paris made gun with Paris proof marks and chambered for 2 3/4 shells. over all the gun is in very good condition. The 28" bls are marked LOrval with a ' or accent between the L & O, followeg by "Arquebusier", 101 Rue St.Lazare, S#24642. The stock is straight hand with a splinter forhand. The action/receiver is fully engraved in a floral design. bls retaining 99% blue. The gun appears to have had very little use. The leg-o-mutton case is not ingreat shape but is restoreable and is marked 1921 "A guift to (I didn't copy the name) aide to the king of Sweeden" (in Sweedish)
Any thoughts would be appreciated!
Cheers, John
