Dinner became Mommacitas problem the next night. She makes a soup/stew she calls pasoli, but, it bears little resemblance to the Mexican version by the same name, I suppose because she isnt Mexican, but, Colombian.The broth is tomatillo based, and she will use either pork or chicken, and a bit of either stock to take the tang down. Beans, hominy,and some other stuff go in, and we serve it with a baguette, and garnish of cilantro and sliced radishes.
Simple fare, perfect for a rainy evening.
