Can anyone familiar with modern FN/Browning products tell me a source of date-of-manufacture codes for Browning products or serial ranges with year of manufacture? Browning USA doesn't have them except for current manufacture models and I'm trying to see if I can legally receive an inherited Browning "Baby" .25 from another state to CA where such guns have to be C&R to be "importable." Where are such codes found on Browning handguns?
*This is the "Baby" that was first manufactured in the 1930s, not the older one that is mechanically identical to the Colt (hammerless) .25 ACP.
