I have been away from handgun shooting for 4-5 years, but because of the high price of shot and my bullet casting equipemnt I thought I would revisit it. I recieved a new Cabelas catalog and was surprized that 500, 158grn lead bullets had only risen in price $3. since I last bought bullets 5 years ago? Figuring that cast bullets should be more complicated for a manufacturer to make than lead shot, how does the difference in price increase work out? As for the cost of the product individually they both cost simularly now, that is 11.25lbs of lead bullets @ $25.00 and 25lbs shot @ $40.00. Kurt
