The model 21 image that Wild Skies posted is the way Angelo Bee has been signing his work since he moved to the US many years ago. All of the guns that I have seen engraved while Angelo worked in Liege for Browning are signed simply "ABEE." The guns engraved in Belgium by Angelo's sister, Rosa Maria Bee, are signed "R.Bee."
I have over 400 examples of engravers signatures in my photo archives but none of them are only the shape of a bee. Nevertheless, that bee symbol you saw could be an engraver's signature not familiar to me or the touch mark of another craftsman or manufacturer.
