grendel Sidelock Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 61 Likes: 2 Kansas	Shoot, there are a number of different models, making your question tough to answer. I don't have any experience with the sidlocks. The boxlocks were usually utilitarian guns. In 16 gauge the Forehand versions were light and nicely rounded. I shoot one occasionally with low pressure loads. A good reference book is Tip Up Shotguns from Hopkins & Allen by Charles E Carder.
