Charles Playfair of Aberdeen was another gunmaker that jumped on the bandwagon.

He was "maker to the Prince Consort" and maker to the late Prince Consort" and just like the Perrins label above, had a huge Royal Warrant mounted above his door.

From what I have uncovered over the years he played on this to the full extent. On one occasion, knowing the Queen and Prince would pass his shop on a royal engagement (he was on Union Street, the main street to get anywhere in the city), he had the warrant further embellished and the front of his shop decorated.

I can only speculate that the Prince somehow came across Playfair on-route to Balmoral.
