Winrest needs a really hot humid hotbox. Some steels don't take rust blue very well. Not sure which. Have never had a problem with a barrel but I currently have with a bolt shroud from a comml Mauser. doublegunhq.com Fine English, American and German Double Shotguns and Rifles
