WJW Sidelock Joined: Dec 2008 Posts: 36 South Eastern B. C.	JB Appears to be a sporter based on a Steyr Mannlicher and is most likely a .256 (6.5 x 53R). These were quite popular with English sportsmen in the period between 1893/94 through to WWI. The rifle is based on the Steyr military action used by the Dutch and possibly some other countries. Can't tell from the photo if it has a bolt peep sight but it should have a wing type safety. Bill
