I have a Gold Label and love it, but agree with treblig and others that Ruger should have followed its previously successful strategy (see Blackhawk and its kin and all the 77s) and improved/diversified the proven Red Label line before launching into an SxS venture that has failed so many times for others. I for one love their RL 28s and have always wondered why no alloy framed 20 for the grouse and chukar crowd...

On the other hand, if Ruger hadn't been a risk taker, we wouldn't have the #1, would we? Everybody but the market said it couldn't be done.
