Geno, Do you mean a Greener Grade 1? I have a Greener 10 gauge #1 delivered in 1883 to a Mr. Wyndyat who ordered said gun with tang safety. It has what is referred to as Silver Damascus barrels. I sent the barrels to Mr. Dale Edmonds for "blackening" he did his best but to be candid the steel content is so high that little of the iron color contrast was raised. It is my understanding that the #1 was one of Greener's highest grade guns in it's era. Mine has the Facile Princeps action. Serial # 30XXX. My gun has a weight of 9 lbs 14 oz. , 32" barrels, 3 1/4" for brass case chambers. I acquired it from a collection where it had resided for many years and is in excellent condition. Mr Graham Greener graciously provided me with a letter advising much of the original configuration detail. The gun has not been modified since. I hope that this helps some. All the Best, Slate
