I wanted to know if anyone has any documentation or a MDL 21 with an extended trigger like this? My Cody letter lists it as single trigger in rear position. Patent on it corresponds to Louis Stiennon patent in 1932. This 32in Trap model was final inspected May 19th 1933.

12brd, did you read the rules of this site before posting here!!!!
Only 24 posts and already on the verge of getting banned!
You cannot under any circumstances post only the trigger of a Winchester M21. You have to post at least 10 pics, first of all, the majority of which must be the complete gun!!

Sharp eye, yes that is my 21, I sent him those pics several years ago. I'd love to show off the whole gun, here it is. JW

I owned the second 21 pictured with an extension. The Cody letter said it left the factory with a 14 3/4 length of pull to the butt. I had the original receipt that was given to Mr.Ruffner when the gun was delivered with a charge of I think $8.75 for a trigger extension. The final inspection at Winchester was dated only a week or so before the receipt was dated. The gun still has a 14 3/4 length of pull to the original buttplate. I was told that at that time the cost of a trigger extension was about 1/2 of what a custom stock would have cost. I guess the factory would make you what you wanted.
It is an interesting gun.
