Dam16 - I have a Parker .410 with 18" barrels that are factory. I also have a .410 with 55" barrels. They don't say Parker on the rib but I'm telling you they're original. Never say never?

As a poscript to this, the VHE 28ga in question did have papers documenting that it was delGreco's work. It was an estate auction. My customer passed, and the gun sold for $13,500.
Thanks to everyone for your input.

GregSY, I would like to see them both. . . actually I would like to hold them and inspect them because I have not heard of any such barrels ever produced but, never say never. Please let me know where these barrels are and I will make arrangements to travel wherever I have to in order that I may witness that such "original" barrels do exist. If you can't produce them for my inspection or they prove to be NOT original then you owe me all expenses that I incur in my pilgrimage to inspect such "original" barrels. . . Deal???

Shouldn't be necessary if GregSY agrees and he is a man of his word.

For what it is worth out there. The name is Del Grego. As in Larry Del Grego who was the last real living Parker workman. He's gone now. But his name is spelled with a "g"... and if you don't know that, you don't know what kind of respect he held in the Parke realm.

So it sold for 87% of the askig price of a similiar gun currently available at Ivory Beads. Curious, does anyone have a Bluebook handy, what are the prices in there for a 28 VHE?
