The dies and cases arrived today for the A Henry .450/.400 2 3/8". Anyone know where I can buy some .415 diameter bullets that weigh close to 230 grains? I'd like to fire a few rounds before I buy a mold.

Call Ace Dube at Ace Bullets in Anch. Sorry Mike I can't find a number this am.

Daniel C at the 'BullShop" in nDelta isn't doing cast this summer so He's out too.

It's about the same dia. as a 38-40 but you want heavier..
It's about like the 416 but it's too heavy..
Kind of an odd ball like my "new" 577/500.. They're fun to play with..

I measured the twist rate today. 1-30" or close to it. With the twist rate and caliber and using the twist rate calculator it seems that a 270 grain bullet that is .805" long is what should be best. COW lists the bullet weight as 210-270.
