I don't guess Otto Rasch of Zella-Mehlis would do, would it?

Little to tell for now. I've read his name in "Austrian & German guns and rifles". It just gave his name and being for Zella-Mehlis as a gunsmith around 1900. I've seen his name before on the top of a rib and I'll check "The Greenhill" by John Walter if you don't have it.

Kind Regards,

Thanks Raimey,

G L Rasch was evidently in business during the 19th century but I can't find anything on him from the 20th century. this drilling was made in the 1930s. a well englinnred bit of kit and I'd like to find out more about the maker.

BTW, I'm coming to SC in August with aload of guns and taking consignments for Charlton Hall. come over and shoot some of them if you are free.

Otto made it at least to the 20th century, but how far past I don't know yet. Sure, I'll be there with bells on. I don't guess you've every been to South Carolina, or the South, in August. It may just be Africa hot. Email me the dates at ellenbrs(at)bellsouth.net.

Kind Regards,
