Skeet load works great: Load and testing developed by Sherman Bell and Tom Armbrust for the articles in DGJ.
Rem Hull marked Nitro Steel Magnum, Win 209 Primer, 23grains of Clays powder, Rem SP10 plastic wad with 16ga fillers inside the cup to bring standard 6 point crimp up to level with 1oz of shot. (I place over the shot a piece of stiff paper to prevent dribbling of shot.) Hull has to be cut back to your chamber dimensions - adjust the 16ga inserts accordingly. The unprimed Remington hull Precision Reloading usually sells is same hull only not marked as Nitro Steel Mag.
Velocity is 1230 fps approx and Pressure is 6300 psi as tested. This load far out performed any expectations I ever had about 1oz load in a 10ga. You will love it and I don't recall any recoil with it in a 9lb gun.
Of course you need to use a reloader for these. I used the Mec single stage with blocks to adjust for short hulls.
