Looking for some help on a L C Smith I found for sale this weekend. It is a grade 2 12 gauge. It has a woodcock and a grouse engraved on the sidelocks, straight comb stock 28" barrels. Its double trigers and extractors. The stock has nice wood but the usual dings and dints. The color case on the receiver is 20 or so % and the blueing is 70 or so %. It locks up real tight with the lever just left of center. All # match.
The bad thing is the forearm stock has been cracked in half and repaired. You have to look hard to see it but its there. The stock has minor cracks behind the sidelocks. The guy is at 1150 for this gun. I want a shooter but one I can collect also. I just dont know if his price is right on this. Any help would be great.
