My new Cape should be completed by Feb. Once completed I will post pictures. If a barrel is in good condition and found safe by a good quality gunsmith, anything is possible providing the action will support the caliber change, modern powders, etc. A topic no doubt that has been covered many times. My Cape was made in 1927 and fluid steel was used, along with a Greener cross bolt, there shouldn't be any problems with the modification. Thanks for the Welcome and pictures coming soon!
