I recently picked up two nifty little Husqvarna single shot bolt rifles, one in .25-20 and the other in .32-20. A few rounds of Winchester ammo came with each, so I took them both up in the country and shot them. I was very pleasantly surprised, these little rifles shoot great!! They are very accurate. They have full octagon barrels and open sights, and have sling swivels on walnut stocks. Sorta' like a rook rifle, I guess, very handy for shooting crows out of the pecan trees down by the lake. I know nothing at all about these little rifles. Who can tell me what about them? I'll likely keep only one of them, but I would like to know the history and background. The action looks similar to a Russian Nagant, it's round and has the split breech at the back, also similar to the German Commission rifle in looks due to the split breech. Any help appreciated.
