RON:
Congratulations on having built the "working man's" double rifle.
I wish someone would produce them on BSS, MAB, CZ or other dependable action in 20 and 12 gauge.
I have killed many deer, a few hogs, and one elk within 75 yards with a slug gun (unrifled Valmet O/U). I have been waiting for three years for the IZMH/Remington/Spartan .45-70 to come out, but may be in a nursing home before it does.
Why don't the Russians or the Turks catch on and make a rifled or paradox SxS?

Even a Cape Gun, rifled left, open-choked, smooth-bored right, at a working-man's price, would be hugely popular. I just can't believe that no one has yet recognized the market potential in the concept!

I thought Dakota made a double rifled shotgun, but I am not sure. A project like that would cost a good bit, if you have to pay someone to do it. It would help a good bit if there was aspare set of barrels or Monobloc to use. Otherwise you would have to make the barrel holding Monobloc from scratch. The pics look good, and make it a bit easier. I wonder if you could use a 10 gauge action and barrels for 12 gauge. You might be able to ream it out, and sleeve it. Then you could regulate in internally. It might work, but the barrel would have to be cut back. Couldn't you chamfer the muzzles and use the angle to seat the muzzle of the insert for regulation? As long as the regulation isn't way off it might work. Greg
