Please take a look at the Jerrry Fisher Springfield at the link below. I'm curious about the bolt sleeve / safety / striker knob. The bolt sleeve looks a little like an Ed LaPour safety I have on a Springfield, but it isn't the same. Particularly on the left side. The striker knob looks to be a custom build also. My bolt with the LaPour safety has a "modern" sear design that has no extension behind the bolt sleeve. Anyone have an idea if Jerry Fisher made this bolt sleeve / safety / striker knob? I assume he did. I haven't seen another like it on another rifle. It is very cool.

Unfortunately Steve, has passed on. Certainly one of, if not the most talent metalsmith working in America in the recent past, truly an inspiration and he was one hell of a nice guy too.

Wonderful rifle, Jerry was a master at his craft.
