Sadly, time for another Single-Shot to cross the block at Amoskeag Auctions (No. 146 at end of May, Lot 223). I have enjoyed ownership of this Sedgley Hornet for many years, even harvesting a few chucks along the way. March '32 American Rifleman has an article about Sedgley's attractive configuration of this rifle, using thickwall 1885 actions from Winchester.
