It’s been a great show. The public is buying and I’ve gotten some great guns.

It’s kinda like The Good Ole Days

I would love to go to that show again, but without a specific objective like I did the first/last time.

Still on my bucket list of shows to attend. I need to go, but I hit the CGCA show in Colorado every May, and if I do Tulsa I'd have to skip CGCA. Can't afford to do both of them! I have tables again for CGCA middle of May, and it's much smaller, but all older guns.

I got home late last night... 3 flights & my mind is sore. The weather was crazy. Rain & wind... no Tornado's touched down locally, but I saw several cars in the ditch on Hwy 40 including a Firetruck... didn't make any sense to me but heard it was wind caused. The show was great... I met Dan from the forum and bought some 1922 magazines from him... He remembered me from when I attended the Kansas City show a few years back. Tulsa had lots of great guns to fondle. I even purchased a few along with some great parts & pieces. Notably, was a 1917 Sporter that has some interesting characteristics... Springfield Sporter buttplate, Tildan scope mounts, Pacific receiver sight, unique bolt knob design & spring lever-detachable swivels. The maker is unknown to me... I didn't want to gamble $1600. on it...but it still haunts me... pics are below. It wasn't to far from DanH's table... I may regret my being overly cautious.
BTW: I just booked my flight for the July Kansas City show & meeting some friends... I will need to gain entry and am gladly willing to pay... smile

That rifle belongs to my friend. If you decide you want it, you still have access to it!

I’ve never seen spring detachable swivels like that. Very cool
