I have a Damascus double with hammers and a firing pin is broken and missing the springs. I inherited it from my father in law. I’d love to get it back up and running again but can’t find any parts for it. It’s really old. Any ideas on where to find parts or someone who can make parts. Burch

U.S. Arms Co. was a tradename for Crescent guns used by Supplee Hdw., Philadelphia and likely others. This is a catalog page from 1902 ![[Linked Image from photos.smugmug.com]](https://photos.smugmug.com/Gun-Stuff/Folsom-Crescent/i-GpvsJZq/0/LtfWrDhT8tVjqWh3LmhNGGrfppcpCFczBq3LPJFxk/XL/1902US%20Arms%20Co.%20Supplee-XL.jpg) There is a guide to estimated DOM here https://docs.google.com/document/d/1OxZo5Tkvx2G8eYf747QR9B5RJdN6Siu5JGIhfguSXXQ/edit?tab=t.0 Crescent parts also appear on ebay. As a piece of family history the gun is of course invaluable, but any gunsmithing costs will far exceed its practical value, and it is unlikely to be safe to shoot. You might consider removing the firing pins, cleaning up the external surfaces, and hanging it in a place of honor in your home.

burch It is a longshot but if you post photos of the gun, including clear photos of all the markings and the rear part of the firing pin (if you have it) it would be helpful. What springs are missing? Not all old guns had springs to retract the firing pins. If the missing springs are in a "lock" and you have broken pieces or the same spring in the other lock, post photos of them also. Many of us have old parts, ID is the problem. Drew Hause is correct that the main value is family history.

I realize it has low value. It does lock up tight and I know it’s blackpowder only. Maybe 1 oz. The bores are still bright. I’ll post pictures as soon as I can. Many thanks for all your help and opinions are always welcome.
