I dont engage in them. There are several posters (posers) i would engage with if I wanted to go down those rabbit holes and go tit for tat over stupid $hit but I dont. Its called maturity.
I have been on this site for quite a while. I don't post for periods of time because I have nothing of value to add to something being discussed and I don't want to be in the middle of some childish bickering of grown ass men. I have to put up with enough childish behavior with a wife of 45 years, so this should be an escape from that. And I do come here to learn.
while flaming each other may feel good at the moment, it is a waste of time for those of us that have to wade through the BS to get to the heart of a posting.
The key board commandoes always want to engage in big D!ck contests. To that I just want to say "grow the F up! its a friggin double gun site. You know, we talk about guns and hunting.
Most of you who have axes to grind with each other will never ever see each other in person. So you grow a big pair sitting behind a keyboard and subject us (who want to learn more about double guns) to your petty feuds. Some of you remind me of those two old geezers on the Muppets who constantly argue with each other.
Yes, we have free speech. And I have risked my life to defend it. And you can exercise your free speech and go on with your petty feuds. And I will sit back, ignore when I can those of you who have a terminal case of sand in your Mangina's and separate the petty BS from the knowledge that is often offered here.

PS: I wish dueling was still legal and all of you who engage in this behavior could meet and settle it once and for all. And it would cleanse the gene pool of half of the problem!

It sure would be nice if we could stick to double guns, but if we cannot, then I am certainly willing to stand up for my side of the fence. Simple as that. Sorry if it ruffles your feathers. That is not my intent.

As I plainly stated, and that should show no feathers ruffled. For that matter, why would you even think that? Considering I was making an observation, not grinding my own axe. you can tilt at all the windmills you like. as long as I can avoid the petty BS, I'm good. Otherwise, I just dont click on a thread. Simple as that.

It would great if folks could avoid the pretty BS, but as you can see from Stan's post, for example, that is not going to happen. Thinking otherwise is a lot like tilting at windmills.

You let everyone know prof. It's not about little dicks, faux maturity or lying that it's petty, but simply about you picking a side. A side that needs to be opposed at every opportunity. Apathy is the true problem, right prof, I know I can count on you to go the extra mile.

Well, as it turns out, Brent D’s beloved Department of HHS does indeed have a SWAT team, as does the US Forest Service, Amtrak , NASA, and a few others that a beleaguered taxpayer or three might question the wisdom of. ATF was recently busted trying to hide their chief of DEI training with a new title, the morons just likely gave that cute congresswoman from Colorado a bunch more ammunition to hopefully kill that organization with. The grandma’s who were praying outside abortion clinics have been released from prison, as well as the guy who put up a website and ended up with two life sentences plus 40 years, despite never even having so much as a parking ticket in his life.

Nazis are where you find them, I guess. Hope NASA doesn’t get the wrong address on the next fake SWAT call, and hurt someone who didn’t have it coming.

Best,
Ted

The important thing Ted, while the sun is shining at an unusually rapid rate, the prof nazis cancered this into the US of A, under the radar. The one thing prof didn't count on, his voter wall was as porous as his southern border. # don't make proclamations, make law, lol.

i have been a fan of trump since the eighties...

and was the first to endorse him for president on this forum...

way back when...

however...

about the birth right citizenship thing...

what was he thinking when he decreed to end the right of citizenship for all persons born in these u s of a?...

ah mean, its pretty clearly written in the 14th amendment...

It is pretty clear. And it's not ALL persons. The 14th speaks of persons subject to the jurisdiction of the US and of the state they reside. Tourists and illegals are subject to the jurisdiction of the countries they came from, and are not residents of any state. It's not a blanket. Babies born to foreign diplomatic personnel in the US are not citizens, why should illegals and tourists get that privilege? Just because law has been abused or misread does not mean it can't be corrected now.

I didn't read the EO, but it doesn't really matter what was written. Trump knew it would be immediately challenged and litigated, the point wasn't to rule by decree, the point was to start a national conversation and get the ball rolling. And that is what it has done. And I believe a congressman has, or is, introducing legislation to clarify this problem.

Thank you, Tim, for clarifying this. This law is way past its expiration date.
