I just bought a matched pair of S2 Dehaan's in 28 ga. and .410. Paid $1019.00 each. Both English and splinter, 28" bbls.and SST. They should arrive on Monday. I did a lot of research on them and they seemed to be a lot of gun for the money. DeHaan has ceased production of their off the rack guns and will only be making their custom line from now on. I got the last off the rack 28 and the last of two .410's. They seem to have a committed following. We will see on Monday.

I also just ordered a DeHaan S2 with full scroll in 20 ga. with SST and semi-beavertail, semi-pistol for $855 delivered. I got the last 20 gauge production gun but hope to swipe a 20 ga. S0 (less engraving, English grip, DT) that may be returned next week. Mine is predicted to arrive on Monday as well.

I've researched Huglus and more specifically DeHaans for quite some time now and they do appear to have a quite a following and be a pretty good deal for the $$$

Yes and that price includes shipping. Hard to even find a 311 in .410 for that kind of money.

As mentioned earlier in this post, I have a 28. Yesterday I bought a 12. 28" bbls. Pic is of 2 roosters taken this morning, with #4 Steel shot. I took one more after lunch, but had already cleaned the first 2, sorry. Like everyone else, I am anticipating we will be forced to use nontox very soon, I thought I would try it for the last 2 weeks of our season, just to form an opinion. so far so good. The CZ pictured is not the most gracesful gun in the world, but fits me well....It is lighter than my favorite pheasant gun, a Lefever "E" 10 bore!
FYI: Temp was 4 degrees..

I wish cz would upgrade the wood a bit on their bobwhites. Ask another hundred bucks for some nicer standard wood with a nicer finish and I bet they would fly out the door, relatively speaking.

I bought a rifle from CZ. It was a manlicher style full stock. The pictured gun on their site was nice. Now realistically, I knew it would not look like that gun, but when I got it it was just clear wood,no figure at all. Now I was not told about or offered a wood upgrade. So I called them in just the off chance that they would consider and exchange for a better wooded gun. FINALLY after talking to everyone who basically said "Too bad, we don't offer that option", I talked to their head gunsmith who made a statement about their "Czhecnologly" as he called it. Now I notice they offer a wood upgrade on their site that sez you can get fancy wood for a $1000.00 more.
