I’d consider Gunter Pfrommer in Virginia. He’s capable of resolving any type of gun issues.

All they will have to do is take the gun apart to be engraved, send it to the engraver and then reblue it and put it back together again after she sends it back to him. It probably won't need any repairs other than that. That's probably all I'll need to have done.

I have never posted before but I use to work at US repeating arms and ct shotgun. I believe even arts sent guns here to get work done to CSMC. I am now retired. I have fond memories of both places. And remember when CSMC would polish a gun, there are lots of tricks and techniques the factory uses. I don’t know how many other people have any of that equipment. Do you want it done correctly? Just my two cents. Jim.

Haha. I’m surprised somebody knows. That was many many years ago

I probably won't be sending anything to Art's. It is a lot different to drive a gun to Connecticut to a gunsmith and he only has to deliver it 20 miles to the engraver. Taking it to Art's- he would have to ship it to Connecticut from Missouri- halfway across the country and back and take the chance of getting it lost or damaged. That's why I am trying to find someone closer to the engraver to do the work. The shorter the distance the better. Besides, if he hasn't returned my emails or phone calls by now, he probably doesn't need my business anyway. Thanks for the replies.
