I hope everyone has dressing with giblet gravy and cranberry sauce, sweet potato pie, pecan pie, potato salad, yeast rolls, ham (I'm not a big Turkey guy), and sweet iced tea.

Queen was prepping the loaded potato casserole, petite butterbeans, pumpkin and apple pies today. A daughter in law will bring the green bean bundles (wrapped with bacon!), her mother will bring the dressing, and I will grill two turkey breasts slathered in olive oil and caked with Tony Cachere's Cajun Seasoning tomorrow morning. This old 148 year old house will ring with the joyful sounds of family enjoying a good meal and each other's company. God be praised! Happy, happy, happy!
