Mills, a few weeks ago I had issues with jpgbox. Due to size limitations of file size that can be used at that site, but even when all is well at jpgbox, I'd have to reduce size using: https://www7.lunapic.com/editor/ Once savedin lunapic, I'd use the saved result in jpgbox. However, I recently noticed in lunapic that once the image is saved, it offers a forum usage link to imgur which cuts down steps necessary to post here. Gil

That drawer would be a Christmas box I’d love to open. i'd enjoy fondling that dickson action body down in the lower left corner.....aw well, doesn't hurt to wish.... best regards, tom

another idle curiosity question, gentlemen.....the dickson action body in the drawer full of exotic goodies has two small diameter holes just below the flats, and maybe an inch apart - what function do those holes/pins provide? i have stumbled upon another scottish gun photo....a bothwell gun with holes that appear similar, https://www.doublegunshop.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=549131#Post549131have never seen (or perhaps noticed) whose penetrations before now....is this a scottish peculiarity? best regards, tom

GB,
Those holes are for the ejector timing screws. The engraving (i.e., block letters with John Dickson and Son Patent) dates the action to 1898-1899.

There was so much vintage décolletage in Grants drawer, that I was bumfuzzled, maybe flummoxed, or possibly verklempt.
My guns wouldn’t even qualify as tomato stakes compared to what he has in there.
Out there doing it best I can.

May God bless America and those who defend her.
