I was in a local gun shop yesterday and they had a matched pair, offered singly, of a Spanish O/U, Victor Sarasqueta, side lock model 14. Look similar to a Woodward-Purdey O/U. Vendor said it was manufactured in the 40s, very few were manufactured, and it was a Purdey knock off, so to speak. Decent wood, little CC, and barrel black was worn, but handled nice. No case. Pricey. Anyone familiar with this model 14 or know where I could locate more information.

If you do a search there are a few hits. I thought they were built on the older Purdey style lock-up with underbolts. Holts sold a pair for 5200 bps + commission in March 2020. Here's the description:

I see the same bolting system on both videos, or am I mistaken? I think this gun can be found in the 1957 or 1959 Stoeger catalog for $780 or close to that.

Pricey back then, They want a heck-of-a-lot more than 800.00 for each today.
