As promised, reporting in on my Inverness, shot a round of sporting clay today after hitting the pattering board. I could not be more happier. POI spot on, with Federal, Remington, and RST. All 7/8 oz loads of 7.5 shot.
Dropped 11 birds, on the SC course, not my best but can't complain, most of my misses were in front of the birds. The gun is pretty nibble and is very easy to over swing the gun.
Now only 6 months till dove season, where I plan on running it through its paces and my go after teal as well.

If he shot an 89 on a 100 bird SC course with this little gun, Stan, he needs to hit the registered circuit. My humble guess is it was a 50 bird course. JR

Nice report. 100 bird course , or 50? Stan, was a 100 bird course. After shooting was thinking of the ammo I burned and going out to replace what I shot. LOL! I normally don't shot to much SC. This might be my 6 or 7th time shoot SC. In my younger days I shot a lot of skeet just about every weekend Saturday and Sunday for over 10 years while stationed in Alaska and California. I sold my Browning special Sporting with adjustable high post rib and replaceable trigger group to a buddy who's boy was getting into trap and skeet shooting It is funny how time passes and finding time to do things is put off that seems like a few months turns out to be several years. I am gearing up for Turkey season and will be in the springs wood in 33 days in Kentucky, Ohio and lastly NY before heading back to the grind of making a living. Only 2 years 11 months and 14 days till I retire! But who's counting :-) Rich

Pardon my tardy reply, but that is excellent shooting, and especially so with a 28! Well done!

I probably only have a couple of rounds of skeet out of my Inverness. I mean to take it out every time I am already on the field. I have a 30" GHE Parker 20 that is my go to 20, but I'll use the Inverness as much as possible this spring. It is as smooth working as an early Superposed 20, but with two more inches of barrel. It is also a bit lighter than a standard weight Superposed.

I was very pleased. With the little gun. By the way it's a 20 gauge. I wish it was a 28.
I believe I got lucky in my shooting. My buddies I was out with also shoot his new Inverness And shot a 63 with his and his brother was shooting a grade 3 browning in 20 and I am not sure but I think he was in the 40s. Am looking at a few shooting trophy in my hunting closet. I wish I could still hammer clays like I use to.
Now I have to think, but not over think my shots. Where in the past was automatic
Now if I can only figure out how to crush grouse like clays or those crazy doves in a tail wind bobbing and weaving all over the sky at light speeds! LoL.
