Hey all, well Raina healed up from her war wound from last month, so her and I went for a little bit. Managed to get a couple. She did well, happy with her!!

That's a nice looking Uggie, Greg. The lighting enhances the engraving and the case color. Great pic.

Can't wait to get my two 16s back from the 'smith. Minor stuff, but I miss them.

May God bless America and those who defend her.

Hey all, my son Jim and I went out for a bit this afternoon. It was Jim's day today! I couldn't buy a shot for love or money. Glad he did well. Raina did good as always, but she's starting to slow down a bit (like me!) but for a dog close to 9 years old, she still has it in her!

If we had to buy new guns every few years, and a dog lasted a lifetime, it would be a better world.

Thank you for sharing the pictures.

Used the boss to take aMixed bag on the prairie today. I saw a lot of birds in the air but they kept just out of range. Lots of hens And the roosters were all big, mature birds. I relaxed for one second In a weed fieldand a giant rooster blew up in my face. Of course I was flummoxed and flubbed the shot.

Had a little more luck today and brought down two roosters using the Horton 16 sk/f shooting 1oz RST #4. The highlight of the day was shooting a coyote on the run at 40 yards with the full barrel. He Packed up his tent right At the point of impact.

Good job... especially for eliminating one pheasant killing coyote. You took two birds, and probably saved many more pheasants by shooting the predator. I know some folks think that coyotes are actually beneficial to game bird populations, but for those who are able to connect the dots, there is no place where an increased coyote population has increased the numbers of game birds, (or bunnies). There are also those who feel that coyotes should be saved because they are the native species, and pheasants are a non-native species. I say, let them eat their coyotes!

Hey all, went out after work for a very short hunt, about an hour. Saw more hens today (which is good!) and a couple roosters, that got up wild. All except one. Raina did very well, she still has that go, go, go hunt drive at 9 years old.

I used my 12b Blanch today
