I picked this up decades ago at a rummage sale. It was missing a hammer and rusted pretty bad. I polished the receiver and got everything moving years ago. I put a fake Parkerizing patina on the receiver the other day because the shiny receiver looked out of place. Looked for original style for decades and gave up. I found a pair with similar shape from Dixie gun works and had them installed recently. The only numbers I can find are 396 and FB on the water table and FP on the barrel(Im guessing it is FB as well but the punch didnt indent perfectly?), and 65 on the right side barrel. Its a 2 7/8 10 gauge. I took it out the other day and shot it for the first time with RST #5s. I plan on trying to get a turkey with it later in the week.

Any help would be appreciated.

Here is a photo of it all in one piece when I got it back with hammers last week. I removed the bluing from the hammers and gave the receiver some patina coloring since this photo...

I light have to try and clean clean of the metal on the barrels over the winter. There was a dent in one of the barrels. I started on it and had my smith take the rest out. Years Ago I polished the dented spot and removed the patina. I rubbed a few coats of oxpho blue in the area and lightly sanded the area till all I saw was the domascus pattern. I might have to do this over the winter if I get bored. Its the bottom barrel I did this to on the bottom left side...

My goal was always to get it functional and to shoot a big Tom turkey with it and the hang it on the wall by the turkey fan.

The barrels are 2 Iron Hufnagel, similar to this Lindner sidelever 10b with the rib marked "Fine Damascus"
