Stevens Arms & Tool Co. went through regular barrels (dove-tail, shoe lump?), then Mono-bloc barrels and finally the chopper lump which they called Demi-Bloc. Iver Johnson first used mono-bloc barrels and then went to chopper lump. So, some U.S. factories weren't loath to change. Last edited by Researcher; 09/03/20 02:28 PM.
