I have a few Stoeger catalogs I plan on scanning eventually.
I have looked into a bunch of different options from commercial book scanners you can get on amazon to robust open-source options like
https://diybookscanner.org/archivist/. These all require a huge amount of manual manipulation.
I did a trial run with one of the paid scanning services which produce a nice scan but cost roughly $100/12 150 page magazines.
From the same book as outer's I also have 500 pages of the gun section from Outdoor life and 200 pages from National sportsman. these are already scanned and I will be uploading them when I find the time!
Cutting the bindings off tattered copies is really all I have time for right now. I do have a few rare books that I will need to be scan with a nondestructive method.
