I've seen sturgeon jump like that often up here in the Savannah River. I've had them jump right in front of my boat. Often wondered if I could avoid one that jumped immediately in front of me. No Asian carp yet, but I've almost been hit by them on Reelfoot.
Carp are small potatoes compared to a 6 or 7 ft. sturgeon.

My little toy, needs a good tailwind to break 60 mph, wrong kind of dogs but the boot will hold a sxs while looking for quail.  dirt bikes are my focus these days...love to ride woods trails. quit street riding years ago...too many mindless people are driving. (other posters here might want to join RADD....Riders Against Distracted Drivers.) others have posted videos of chosen sports, here's a couple from the world of observed trials....these folks are the magicians of the off-road motorcycle world. far too few people outside the enthusiasts have any knowledge of the skill and training that these top level riders exhibit. take a few minutes and watch these...these are the two best riders in the world; toni bou, 13 times world champion, and adam raga, the "second best" rider alive. these two have no peers in competition. sergio is one of the leading photographers who follows this sport, and his website is worth spending a little time....
