Regulated the second barrel set on a heavily engraved Rising block rifle today. 450-400 3" barrels. It's fun when you get this kind of regulation after 14 rounds. 50yds, but when the barrels are shooting parallel, they will maintain this spread over a great distance.

Ed,

It's my own design and work. I call it a Rising Block. Weighs in at a cool 10 1/4lbs with the 450-400 barrels, 11 with the .500NE barrels.

Bailey,
Seriously one of the most interesting, coolest looking actions/guns that Ive seen in a long time. On the level with George Hoenigs Rotary Round. Awesome!!

Do you still make the little round action .22s? That was you too wasnt it??

Funny that you bring up Mr. Hoenig's rotary actions. My design is inspired by his in a way. His action is basically a condensed bolt action. The receiver being the bolt face, and the barrel ring being like the front ring of a bolt action. My design takes a similar approach to a falling block, with the barrel block being like a falling block action body, and the receiver being the breech block respectively. I came up with my design after studying his and the thought hit me, "why can't I do for a falling block what he did with a bolt action".

I do still build the little Hornet's. Just a few
